It's a Sunday today. I went to Mass as usual. I don't know why but when Rev. Yeung told the story of the song "Puff the Magic Dragon", I started to cry. It was not a particularly touching story but I couldn't stop my tears.
When I was still so busy trying to wipe away my tears without anyone else's notice, the altar boy came to me and asked me to carry the offerings to the altar! Most likely he hadn't noticed the terrible state I was in and it was already too late when he noticed because he had already pushed the cup with the bread into my hands which made it very difficult for me to get a tissue out to clean my face. I had to do it with one hand and I nearly dropped the whole thing in the process!
I don't know whether anyone noticed, I hope not. But I suspected Rev. Yeung saw me. *sighs* It would have been a nightmare if I had dropped the offering. And since I was so flusttered that I couldn't understand the instructions from the altar boy about where to stand. It was all so very embarrassing! I acted like a complete idiot. I really need to stay away from the seats next to the aisle next time!
